Taxi bosses blame police for recent violence

JOHANNESBURG – Taxi bosses in the Western Cape blame police for the recent spate of violence in the province.
Over 60 people have been killed in the past two years. Taxi bosses said police have failed to make any arrests.
The South African National Taxi Council said the police are unable to deal with the perpetrators, but police said the allegations are devoid of truth.
Western Cape police said taxi industry violence has been prioritised.
