A 19 year- old boy whose names were given as Peter Momoh has been arrested by men of the Edo State Police Command for raping a nursing mother.
His victim, who gave birth through a Caesarian operation three months ago, was staying with her mother when the incident occurred.
Momoh lives in the same neighbourhood with the victim at Agenebode in Estako East local government area of the state.
He was beaten to stupor before being handed over to the police.
The Nation gathered that Momoh gained access to the victim’s room through the window and grabbed the baby whom he threatened to kill if the mother did not succumb to him.
The victim succumbed and after the rapist had ran away, she cried out.
According to the victim who pleaded anonymity, “I was sleeping when I heard a noise. The boy shone light on my face, took my baby and turned him upside down. I begged him but he insisted I should allow him and to save my baby I agreed.”

He was trying to get into his apartment when angry community members descended on him.
