Thieving Ndola Cops Nabbed

zambia_policeFour police officers in Ndola have been arrested for stealing electric cables belonging to Dangote Group of Companies.

The quartet comprising officers identified as sergeant Phiri, constable Malanga, inspector Sitwala and constable Mulenga are believed to have stolen the cables on Saturday January, 19.

Although the exact value of the electric cables has not been stated they are believed to be worth thousands of kwacha.

The four have been incarcerated awaiting trial.

Dangote Group of Companies owned by Nigerian multi billionaire Aliko Dangote and is constructing a cement plant in Ndola.
