Tight security as Jonathan visits Bauchi

There is tight security around Bauchi town as President Goodluck Jonathan is expected to attend the North East grand rally‎ of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP).

Access roads inside Bauchi metropolis have been blocked with heavily armed security personnel.

Gaining access to the main bowl of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium was not easy for the teaming supporters in view of the strenuous checks they will have to undergo.

Many supporters were seen outside the stadium avoiding being molested by angry and over- zealous security agents.

Many were still seen inside the main bowl of ATBS seated according to the various states of the north east region.

Different cultural groups, youth solidarity group‎s, women associations of different candidates were sighted at the popular stand of the Stadium drumming support for their candidates, just as security men kept an eye on them preventing a possible overflow to the VIP stand of the stadium.
