Two children, five adults killed in Limpopo crash

JOHANNESBURG – Seven people, including two children, were killed in a head-on collision outside Polokwane on Saturday afternoon, paramedics and the Limpopo health department said.

A minibus carrying 16 children of various ages collided head-on with a car, killing seven people, Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said.

Health department spokesman Macks Lesufi said two children were among the dead.

“Thirteen [of the injured] were transferred to the Lebowkgomo hospital and one was airlifted to the Pietersburg hospital.”
