UK condemns latest Boko Haram kidnappings
United Kingdom’s Minister for Africa, James Duddridge,condemned the abduction of over 100 people in Nigeria and pledged continued United Kingdom support in fight against Boko Haram.
“I am appalled to see reports of another large abduction by terrorists in the north east of Nigeria. Officials at the British High Commission in Abuja are urgently looking into the details. The UK stands firmly with Nigeria as it faces the scourge of Boko Haram.”
It was reported on Friday Boko Haram terrorists had abducted dozens of men and boys in a village in Borno State.
