UN to help Kenya fight against terror
The UN secretary general Ban Ki Moo has said that the United Nations will help Kenya fight war against terror.
Speaking during a meeting with Kenyan president Uhuru Kenya in the capital Nairobi Mr. Ban said the United Nations will strengthen the capacity of Kenyan security agencies to help them fight against Al Shabaab militant group in Somalia.
Ban Ki Moon has also praised Kenya’s role against fight of terror in the region.
Kenya has experienced wave of attacks inform of retaliation from Al Shabaab militant group since it sent its troops inside Somalia in 2011.
Al Shabaab has claimed the responsibility of an attack in Kenyan coast last month in which more than 60 people were killed.
