Video: US President Obama busts out in Swahili

President Obama taped a video message urging Kenyans to support free and fair elections without violence next month and he dropped in a few words of Swahili.

“Habari yako,” the president begins, using the phrase for “How are you?” He ends with “kwaheri,” or goodbye.

The video posted on the White House web site also comes with subtitles in Swahili, the common language of Kenya, the home of Obama’s paternal ancestors.
