Yobe: Emir of Bade to lead 2014 Hajj

The Emir of Bade, Alhaji Umar Suleiman has been appointed the 2014 Amirul Hajj in Yobe State by the Governor of the State, Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam.

A statement from the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Alahji Abdullahi Bego, which was made available to journalists in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital revealed that other members of the Amirul Hajj team include:

Hon. Muhammad Sirajo Wakil​​ – Member
Hon. Buba Ibrahim Kalallawa​​​ – Member
Mai Aliyu Usman​​​​​ – Member
Alhaji Sani Inuwa Nguru​​​​​-Member
Alhaji Muhammadu Guza​​​​​-Member
Alhaji Musa Lawan​​​​​​-Member
Hon. Chiroma Mashio​​​​ ​ -Member
Alhaji Baba Machina (Yobe State University)​​-Member
Alhaji Ibrahim Jauro​​​​​​-Member
Alhaji Bukar Kime​​​​​​ -Member/Secretary

According to the statement, the Amirul Hajj team will oversee the welfare of the State’s pilgrims to this year’s pilgrimage to the Holy Land right from the Hajj Camp until their return home at the end of the Hajj exercise.

The Amirul Hajj Team will be inaugurated by Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Gaidam at a date to be announced later.
